Diakonia 2026-1.7 The Christian Brethren National Mission Conference 2026

DIAKONIA 2026 VOLUME 1

The Christian Brethren National Mission Conference 2026: The Great Commission for All (GC 4 All)

     The Committee of NMC 26

On 14–15 August 2026, believers from across Malaysia will gather at the Bandar Puchong Gospel Centre (BPGC) for the Christian Brethren National Mission Conference (NMC). Organized by the Malaysia Missionary Services Trust (MMST), in partnership with Pan Malaysia OA Ministry (PMOAM) and Malaysia Myanmar Ministry (MMM), and in association with Christian Brethren Secretariat Malaysia (CBSM), this national event is more than a meeting—it is a movement to renew passion for the gospel and strengthen the bonds of mission across generations.

A Call to Further the Great Commission

The heartbeat of NMC 2026 is “the Great Commission for All (GC 4 All).” In a world where distractions abound and faith can grow weary, the conference seeks to rekindle zeal for Christ’s command: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Through biblical teaching and shared testimony, participants will be reminded that mission is not optional; it is the very essence of Christian living. Therefore, we strive to include the following objectives in the conference, aiming to honor the hard work of those who have gone before us, appreciate those who are laboring in the field, and inspire the next generation of disciples.

 a) Unity in Diversity

This conference hopes to bring together assemblies, mission teams, and leaders from different regions and backgrounds. It is not simply about networking; it is about embodying the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21: “That they may be one… so that the world may believe.” By fostering collaboration and fellowship, NMC 2026 aims to build a united front for gospel work, showing that the strength of the assemblies lies in their shared mission.

 b) Stories that Inspire

The conference will also highlight the ongoing work of Brethren mission agencies. These updates are more than reports; they are stories of faith, sacrifice, and transformation. They provide clarity on progress and challenges, while opening doors for new partnerships and resources. Each highlight serves as a reminder that mission is not abstract; it is lived out in real communities, with real impact.

  1. C) Passing the Torch to the Next Generation

One of the most compelling aspects of NMC 2026 is its emphasis on keynote sessions of biblical encouragement designed to inspire many. By showcasing sound scriptural convictions and demands for the lives devoted to Christ, the conference seeks to plant seeds of missional living in the hearts of the next generation. These seeds, nurtured by faith and fellowship, will grow into a legacy of servants who carry the torch forward, ensuring that the gospel continues to shine across cultures and communities.

The Christian Brethren National Mission Conference 2026 (NMC 26) is not just another event on the calendar. It is a moment of renewal, unity, and vision. As believers gather at Bandar Puchong Gospel Centre, they will be reminded that mission is not a task for a few but a calling for all. And in answering that call together, the Christian Brethren Assemblies in Malaysia will continue to proclaim Christ faithfully across cultures, communities, and generations. We deeply value your prayers and eagerly anticipate your participation in this conference.
