– What Matters Most
What is the Youth Rally?
- An initiative to support youth development within Brethren churches, part of the bigger picture of the revitalization of the assemblies.
- A place to foster a sense of community and encouragement among the youths, that they are not alone in their faith and struggles.
- A platform to bring attention to current topics concerning youths, by:
- engaging and developing their understanding & growth through sessions, workshops and group discussions,
- reflecting on God’s word and applying it to these topics,
- inspiring them to return to their home churches and participate in the work & ministry of their own fellowships & community
This year’s CBSM Youth Rally is special!
Dates: 19th to 21st September, overnight stay (3 days 2 nights)
Venue: Elim Gospel Hall, Ipoh. Accommodation is being arranged with Elim Gospel Hall.
Theme: IRL Connections: Being Authentic
This year, we are focusing on our relationships. We chose this theme, wishing to address the lack of authentic connection among the youths today. Despite living in the era of the Internet where our phones are able to let us communicate with people all around through social media – yet there is something missing. We hope to share reflections & lessons on making lasting and real connections as of God’s family.
Age of Participants: 12 – 23 years-old
We welcome Helpers & Group Leaders too: 24 years-old & above
