Nilai Gospel Chapel (NGC) is a Brethren Assembly that provides opportunities for growth in the love, knowledge, worship & service of Jesus Christ as well as fellowship with believers in a Christ-Centred & Biblically Oriented environment.<\/span><\/p>

NGC (English) had its first inaugural worship on 20 December 1998. Four assemblies, namely Jalan Imbi Chapel (JIC), The Life Chapel (TLC), Bangsar Gospel Centre (BGC) & Seremban Gospel Chapel (SGC) agreed to come together in September 1997 to start the English work in Nilai in view of the potential growth of nearby new industries, colleges & Universities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

There was a serious need for a Christian managed home care for the old-aged people in Nilai. Hence, in 2019 a plot of land was offered to NGC and was subsequently purchased. The land is situated near Nilai Springs Villas. This project is named \u201cNGC Sanctuary \u2013 Community Living \u201cWe are writing to present a comprehensive proposal for the establishment of a fully furnished sanctuary home for elderly folks within our church community. This project aims to create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for our elderlies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As believers, we share a common bond and a calling to care for those in need, particularly elderly believers who have dedicated their lives to the faith.<\/span><\/p>

The proposed sanctuary home is a testament to our shared values and a tangible expression of our commitment to providing them with the utmost care, support, and dignity as they enter a new phase of their lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Salient Points:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

1. Purpose:<\/b><\/p>

To build a fully furnished sanctuary home for elderly folks within a Christian community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

To provide a safe and comfortable living environment for seniors and elderly believers.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

2. Financial Commitments & Project Updates<\/b><\/p>

We have a total of 10 suites for Phase 1 with the balance 9 suites taken by 8 partners in mission with one of them assisting us by taking another suite so as not to over burden our Project funding.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

a. NGC (English Assembly) Pledge<\/b><\/p>

– Total commitment: RM260,000.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

– RM160,000 for 1 Ground Floor suite<\/span><\/p>

– RM100,000 for 1st Floor dormitory<\/span><\/p>

– excludes furnishings for these units and common areas.<\/span><\/p>

b. Interest-Free Loan from Partner Churches<\/b><\/p>

– Jalan Imbi Chapel & Bangsar Gospel Centre have graciously and verbally pledged:<\/span><\/p>

– RM100,000 each ( interest-free loan)<\/span><\/p>

– Repayable over 5 years (RM20,000 annually per assembly)<\/span><\/p>

– Prayer Need: For the project’s cash flow to sustainably cover these repayments post-opening<\/span><\/p>

c. Phase 1 Progress<\/b><\/p>

– 10 suites total (Ground Floor)<\/span><\/p>

– 9 suites already taken by 8 mission partners<\/span><\/p>

– 1 partner generously took extra suite to ease funding burden whilst waiting for additional new partners to opt-in.<\/span><\/p>

d. Potential Phase 2 Expansion<\/b><\/p>

– Considering adding 6 more suites\/rooms (1st Floor)<\/span><\/p>

– Would require an additional RM500,000 funding<\/span><\/p>

– If approved, would extend timeline by ~6 months<\/span><\/p>

– Finalizing maintenance fee structure<\/span><\/p>

– Developing long-term revenue model including:<\/span><\/p>

– Annual maintenance fees<\/span><\/p>

– Usage benefits for residents<\/span><\/p>

The project has commenced. The progress of this project is seen as a mission effort for the Kingdom, relying on the wisdom and provision from God to move forward.<\/span><\/p>
